The Royal Ascot with CAMCAT® Systems

CAMCAT® Systems was proud to return to Royal Ascot 2026, one of the most prestigious events in the international horse racing calendar. Taking place from the 16th – 20th of June 2026, the event attracted global audiences, with world-class broadcast coverage capturing every moment of the action.

For this year's production, we were on site with two aerial camera solutions: our proven CAMCAT® Standard and the CAMCAT® colibri System. Together, these technologies delivered dynamic and immersive perspectives across the racecourse, enhancing the viewing experience with stunning tracking shots, sweeping aerial views, and ultra-smooth motion capture.

The Standard System provided the reliable, high-speed tracking coverage for which CAMCAT® is renowned, following the horses with precision along key sections of the track. Complementing this, the colibri System offered unique camera angles and cinematic shots that brought viewers even closer to the atmosphere, elegance, and excitement of Royal Ascot.
